1. What Tofu is

Tofu is a developer tool for testing, inspecting, forwarding, and replaying webhook-style HTTP requests. It is designed to help developers debug local and non-production integrations.

2. Development-use only

Tofu is intended for development, testing, debugging, and inspection workflows. Tofu is not intended to be used as production infrastructure, a guaranteed delivery system, a high-availability proxy, a permanent storage system, or a compliance-grade security product.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your account, your workspace, your hooks, the request data you send through Tofu, and the systems you connect to Tofu. You are also responsible for ensuring you have permission to process any data sent through Tofu and for complying with applicable laws and obligations.

You must not send data through Tofu unless you have the right to do so.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Tofu to break the law, send unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading content, attack, overload, scan, scrape, spam, or interfere with any system, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, transmit malware or harmful code, abuse, disrupt, or degrade the service, bypass limits or restrictions, or process data you do not have permission to process.

5. Webhook payloads and request data

Tofu may receive, process, store, forward, and replay webhook-style HTTP requests. This may include request metadata, headers, bodies, payloads, timestamps, delivery attempts, replay attempts, and debugging information.

You are responsible for the contents of the requests sent to your Tofu hooks. You should not send production secrets, sensitive personal data, confidential production payloads, or regulated data unless you understand and accept the risks.

6. Availability and reliability

Tofu may be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, degraded, or discontinued. Requests may fail, be delayed, be duplicated, be dropped, or be lost. Stored events, logs, headers, payloads, or replay data may be deleted according to retention limits or operational requirements.

7. No production reliance

Tofu is intended for development and testing only. You must not rely on Tofu for production-critical traffic, production request delivery, business-critical workflows, or any system where failure, delay, data loss, or unavailability could cause harm. You are responsible for using production-grade infrastructure for production systems.

8. Billing and subscriptions

If Tofu offers paid plans, billing terms will be shown at the point of purchase. Paid features, limits, prices, and availability may change over time. Failure to pay may result in loss of access to paid features.

9. Account access

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must not share access in a way that compromises the security or integrity of the service. You should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Tofu if you breach these terms, you abuse the service, your usage creates risk for Tofu, other users, or third parties, or we are required to do so for legal, security, operational, or billing reasons. You may stop using Tofu at any time.

11. Disclaimers

Tofu is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that Tofu will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for your particular use case. We do not guarantee delivery, forwarding, replay, storage, or availability of any request or payload.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tofu and its operators are not liable for lost data, lost payloads, failed forwarding, failed replay, missed requests, downtime, service interruptions, security incidents caused by user-provided data or configuration, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, production incidents, or indirect or consequential losses. You use Tofu at your own risk.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Tofu after changes means you accept the updated terms.
